This mod are sick!!
I appreciate all of the hard work put into this, Sarge, been playing with Brutal Doom for at least a year now.
Above and beyond the best part is how you've rebalanced the game. Weapons becoming useless always bothered me. They were fine in DOOM I when most of the enemies were pussies, but with DOOM II adding in mostly mid class monsters almost your entire arsenal is left in the dust with only the SS, Rockets and BFG holding any water. Making every weapon viable again alone has rekindled my passion for DOOM. But, all the extra work you've put into giving monsters more personality and avenues of attack multiplies the value of this mod one thousand fold. I really appreciate the balance you've struck with this mod. I think many professional game designers could take a footnote from you!
I hope you can find the time to put some more work into Brutal Hexen over the next five years. It needs the balance act more then DOOM does now.
