Hi there,

1) There's two ways to uninstall the mod. 1 - If you chose to install the "uninstaller", goto Add/Remove programs and uninstall LegaWarz. 2 - Goto your Addons folder and delete anything beginning with LWZ.

2) Who knows. They liked the game but they didn't like that we were using the name "Lego". That's why we changed it to LegaWarz.

The community development manager from Lego North America found our site and liked it but said we gotta change the name to prevent legal issues. After 100s of ideas we decided upon LegaWarz. Lego liked it :)

I wonder if other Developers/Publishers will follow suit? I've heard rumors about other game developers offering monetary rewards to successful mods (in a contest type fashion). The effect has been both positive and negative with teams working hard to make quality modifications but at the same time sacrificing some of the important aspects of mod development such as teamwork, sharing, community, and support amongst different mods.

It will be interesting to see how gamers and other gaming companies respond.

1. yup we know...we're trying our hardest to accomodate with the limitations of OFP and hope that we can make something that is a little better in that area. Skeletal modification is very limited, especially when dealing with legomen which have a different skelatal system than humans.

2. bomb truck bomb truck bomb truck. hehe...we've heard it all. we developed the mod on a p4 2.4 and a dual athlon 2100 so we didn't notice the problem :P we've already reduced it 400% since release and are still optimizing.

Thanks for the feedback though, we're trying to make the mod better and better! Our forum is a good place for providing even more feedback. Beta 1.1 shouldn't be too far away and will fix the problems you've mentioned.

I considered HL for about 2 minutes...but Blue is right, no automobiles... or planes, or boats for that matter :D Yay to Flashpoint and Battlefield for making good vehicles!

If you didn't catch the news, we're gonna release two versions of the game... one for battlefield and one for operation flashpoint.

We're gonna produce it for operation flashpoint first because of its capabilities and the opportunity to experiment with game modes and scripting much easier. In a month or so we hope to continue production in battlefield.

So if you've got operation flashpoint, get ready from some stuff real shortly, otherwise just sit back and watch our progress because it will have a big influence on the battlefield mod.

You may think we're crazy...its cuz we are! :)

Thanks for the advice man...

we recognized the same points you've just pointed out when deciding an engine and therefore chose Battlefield. Unfortunately we have some deadlines coming up (I'm doing this as part of a game design course in my last year at university, and joesiv is presenting it at an exhibition), so we want to be able to illustrate as best we can the gameplay concepts behind the game, and feel that the quickest way to do that right now will be with the OFP engine.

I predict that in a month or two, we will resume production in Battlefield. We are producing all our models in 3D Studio Max, so it shouldn't be a major issue to port.

ahha that's awesome!

Lego does rule, my friend is using it as part of his grad courses for his masters next year! Last year we made a robot that we could control from a computer wirelessly, see where we're going and talk to people with (by typing messages that it spoke aloud)! Check the lil guy out!

This mod is because we love lego and love the idea of playing with it online with otherz who dig it as well. There is so much you can do with lego and our goal is to recreate as much as we can. We also love the battlefield engine and believe that it will suit this type of game fairly well. For more detailed information, download our game design doc @ www.legowarz.com..

Thankz for the comments on the video! It was just as fun to make! 8)
