I am not completely sure, but I think that this is why ScureHD included dgvoodoo with phong enabled, and reshade with the mod (he had this issue but couldn't find the proper solution for it).

the problem with phong and reshade is that it ameliorates the problem, but if I remember correctly, it is not "as originally intended". the shading doesnt look bad but some shadows dont look as they did in the original game. Luckily, with Phong off and the 9800GT setting, everything works as in the original.

I didnt find those connection issues on my own, but I will take your word for it. I like reshade, but generally speaking, the less stuff you turn on, on reshade the better. It really kills performance for me anyway. I'd say the most important part of this is the ScureHD textures. I did try to enable ambient occlusion via reshade, but the game does not appear to have a depth buffer so I just dont use reshade at all with this game. If you were using reshade for antialiasing, I strongly recommend just enabling antialiasing directly through your video-card drivers!

I was able to fix it. have to set dgvoodoo card to nvidia 9800GT and disable phong shading setting. Also, the directx8to9 by crosire has to be used and dgvoodoo then installed using the d3d9.dll. and then finally, reshade can be installed as directx 10/11/12. The only way the buildings are rendered correctly is by using the nvidia 9800GT setting.

Hello ScureHD I have a problem in which my building textures are overexposed to light. buildings look extremely bright, completely white like the sun.
