have YOU ever heard of the Classics?!?! were not trying to make it look crazy with graphics and stuff, we are looking to bring back one of the classic games that started it all! and besides not everyone can play doom3 ya know!

the reason i don't want to use source is because of the fact i get ONLY 20 FPS even with 640x480 mostly because i don't have that "ATI and Navida cards" that some of you have... im sure some would also prefer more FPS to graphics... >.> besides if HL1 is pushed to the limits it can show some pretty decent graphics, ALSO using a classic game like this in a "futuristic" engine like Source is a waste because quote: "there will be many of the original features that the Doom games came with." that means im not going to want to use CRAZY looking light effects and such. Besides i know alot of people who can't run half-life good at ALL!

If this mod died now i would kill Kuroneko. :P and anyone else who gave up on it!

Half-life 1 is based off of the "modified" Quake 1 engine

Half-life 2 is based off the Source Engine which valve MADE.
