It doesn't affect Ray Tracing effects. It's just a change in the time of day of the game, really.

If it's the Epic Games Store version, the default installation folder usually is:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Crysis2Remastered
Yes, it's the same TOD with slight tweaks in some levels. But the idea is to make it all levels with the same look that I like.
Thanks man, I put a lot of effort on that last update, it was not easy to do, appreciate your feedback. You are referring to the Lite TOD of the first mod, right? That one you can actually achieve the same effect by "reducing the brightness" of the mod. It doesn't only decrease the brightness, it actually reduces the saturation a bit and it makes the shadows less dark, giving it a more neutral look. This is exactly what that old Lite TOD used to do. It might not look exactly like it because it's a different version of the engine, but it should be pretty similar. Thanks for the feedback again
Changelog v1.2
- You can now reduce or increase the Mod's overall brightness by pressing K to reduce it or L to increase it
Changelog v1.1
- Reduced the brightness a little of the first level and some others.
- Added the hability to QuickSave the game by pressing F5 with reminders during the game
Press the Lighting change key ultil you reach the "Lite TOD Lighting",this is the brightless config.
I believe that the standalone version already has the "Attachments" thing you're talking about, doesn't it? The fov can be changed even without the quality mod, just type cl_fov 60 in the console and change the value to wathever you want.
I'm aware of this issue, many ppl have it. I'll probably fix it in a future update.
Did you start a new game when you installed the mod? You can't load any savegame created before you installed the mod.
Unfortunately that's not possible.
Read the description, please.
I'm almost sure that this particle effect mod is the problem, maybe it installs files that are not compatible with my mod. If you could send me the download link of this mod so I can test it myself, maybe I can come up with a solution.
. Go to "(Crysis Install Foder)\Mods\BFMU and copy the entire folder content to the Crysis root folder (Usually: C:\Program Files(x86)\Eletronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis".
. Use any shortcut you want to launch the game and the mod should be working.
Try using the 32bit executable instead
Pra usar cheats tem que estar em devmode
para fazer isso, vá na pasta do Crysis e encontre o arquivo BFMU.bat, com o botão direito, clique em editar
Você verá a linha:
Crysis.exe -mod BFMU
altere para
Crysis.exe -mod BFMU -devmode
Use o atalho no seu desktop e os cheats funcionarão, mas devo avisar que os botões F1....F12 irão ficar zoados ativando isso
Seu problema é parecido com esse?

(Olhe lá no fundo umas linhas)
Antes de carregar a fase, digite esses comandos no console:
r_texturesstreaming = 0
e_detail_materials_view_dist_z = 2048
e_detail_materials_view_dist_xy = 2048
veja se resolve seu problema
You're probably installing the mod in the wrong folder, make sure you install the mod in your Crysis 2 root folder:
Steam: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crysis 2"
Origin: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Origin Games\Crysis 2"
Others: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Eletronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2"
You're running out of video memory, that's the price you have to pay in order to use texture packs with such high resolution textures and POM.
The limiting factor here are the associated mods, my mod by itself doesn't make the game heavier at all, it's just a TimeOfDay change and Sun Position. However, MaLDo's Textures have a significant performance cost, so if he said that you'll probably get choppy framerates, you'll probably have the same issue with my mod.
Haha.Thanks man!
No, this mod only changes the original singleplayer campaign maps, but you can achieve the same look if you want, by downloading the source files at Crydev.net.
I've made a very easy tutorial how to use them, even if you have no experience in the editor.
I have a few suggestions, but I don't know if it will work.
Go to C:\Users\YourUser\Documents\My Games and delete the folder "Crysis" an then go to the folder where Crysis was installed, open the Bin32 folder and create a shortcut for "Crysis.exe". Right click on the shortcut, go to Proprieties and make the "Target" field look like this:
"C:\....\Crysis.exe" -mod BFMU
After that, use this shortcut.
Good luck, I hope it works.
Open the console by pressing " and type:
r_Width 1920 [ENTER]
r_Height 1080 [ENTER]
r_FullScreen 1 [ENTER]
or press [ALT] + [ENTER]
You mean "Custom",right? This is not an issue. The settings only change to "Custom" if you use console commands to make changes. Since the Texture Pack doesn't add any in-game commands, it should be fine the way it is being shown.
But the texture pack isn't working at all? Have you tested in-game?
You you're looking for an alternative, there's the Chicken Texture Pack, it's a impressive texture pack, all HD resolution and mostly of them have POM. If you're going to use it, don't forget to add the command r_TexturesStreaming = 0 into your autoexec.cfg located in the BFMU foder, or type it in the console before you load a level.
You're confusing 32bit operational system with 32bit application. The memory limitation only exist if you were using a 32bit system, it has nothing to do with the 32bit executable. The game continues to recognize up to 192GB of RAM, if your system is 64bit. As I said, there is no difference between any executable you use 32bit and 64bit, with the exception that the executable 64bit may not work, as you saw. The problem you are having is completely unrelated to the executable.
In some systems, the 64bit exe doesn't work, even in 64bit systems. Since there is ZERO performance diference between the 32 and 64 bit exe, I've simply choosed the 32 bit exe to be the default one.But you can run the game with the 64bit exe if you want.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Eletronic Arts\Crysis\Mods\BFMU\Game
The High Resolution Foliage by Silent91 is a very interesting Texture Pack in my optinion, but if you want a huge Texture Pack there is the called Reygel Texture Mod wich has about 2GB of news textures, but I don't think that's necessary, Crysis 1 has a pretty decent ammount of HiRes textures by default, IMO.
Probably not. Every mod that uses a modified mission_mission0.xml file or a level.pak file overwrites all changes of my mod.
