The reason why collimators work is due to the fact, that guns from the mod you're using are likely set to use the basic texture of all scopes, which is why they work but ACOG does not - I made ACOG sight on all weapons 2D just like PSO scopes are to begin with.

If by all files you mean aditional addons then no, you only have to install what's in "1 Alternative Weapon Balance & Reworked Silencers & Scopes" folder

Firstly I hope you'll get better soon and your life in not in danger

I have to dissapoint you, cause so far I never succeeded on editing or creating entirely new upgrade tree for guns or armors. You're right, on guns other than pistols or shotguns these accuracy upgrades are useless, so you need to either avoid them or pick alternative upgrade(if possible).
I'd like to eventually get rid of these upgrades, but for now I can't say for sure I'll include this feature.

Yeah, due to lack of any battle rifle/DMR that would use 7.62x54 round with 20 mags by default. Same for SVU's.

btw. didn't mention in description, but heavier weapons like RPK/RPK-74/PKM etc. have less recoil than their standard variants so you can choose between more modularity of standard rifles or less recoil on heavier ones(only 5.45 RPK can take optics but it's more pricey)

AWBRSS is a rework of scopes & gun stats to my liking using GBO pretty much as a base mod(u still need to download it though, cause all ammo stats are meant for the modded ammo file not base game one).

Sure, some guns have less recoil and you can shoot more accurately cause 10x zoom and even use PSO/ACOG at CQC so it makes game a little easier.

Only thing AWBRSS changes in regards to GBO is it makes 9x18AP rounds marginally more effective against armor, but I may remove this change in one of future updates.

You can install only my weapon configs then, in that case if you have installed my mod you'll need to delete textures folder from gamedata folder inside Stalker Anomaly - then you'll have vanilla textures or whatever else you prefer. No need for new version.
