All I can say is...WOW. That was incredible. E2 is far better than E1 and I am sure the next one will be even better. All I want is for Id Software to give you a fat sack of money so you can finish the game as you had originally intended and maybe wrap up the Doom 3 saga.

Is it still going to be just E1? The game is called Phobos but I have a feeling we won't be going there. I hope it won't be just a cliffhanger and the game just stops.

Also, what I really want to see is Doom 3's Hell expanded. I know that was going to be part of E3 but is a big chunk of Hell still in the plans? My biggest and greatest disappointment in the original game is that it wasn't expanded to its full potential.

Finally, I initially didn't really like the story but after E2 I am starting to get intrigued. The characters are growing on me. I still don't really see what it all has to do with Doom, feels more like the kind of story you see in another kind of game but I am starting to like it. So far at least it also feels a bit disconnected from the main storyline. There are a few nods here and there but I hope what happens with the D3 Marine and Betruger is somehow connected to what you guys are doing.

Exploration is a huge part of what makes Doom the experience I like and E2 really delivers. There were some really good secrets in there and a few of them were too tough for me to crack but the hard ones I did crack made me feel very clever.
