MWLL is the ONLY multiplayer game/mod within the Battletech universe that lets players experience the combined arms element first hand. Be it with ASFs, VTOLs, hovercraft, tanks, artillery or even Battle Armor. That alone puts it in a category of excellence of its own.

Although a Mechbay feature is absent, there are plenty of variants of each vehicle to fulfill a myriad of combat roles and play-styles that are available through a per-game credit system.

Several features that require careful management and enhance immersion are well represented, like Active/Passive Radar, Ejection, Functional Lights, Coolant, among others.

There are various maps offering different themes and tactical situations according to the game mode.

The mod has frequent updates and an active Discord community that hosts events like monthly 5v5 leagues.

Some clunkyness and bugs are to be expected now and then, but MWLL is a miracle of modding and a pearl for any enjoyers of combat-sims, mech games and anything in-between. Do yourself a favor, hop in later in the evening when it's most active and give this a try.

A worthy 10/10. It's amazing to see mods like this, reviving old, yet fantastic games.
