Yes I've noticed some serious issues with the modified levels. The Bar is especially bad so I'd suggest just trying to play around it for now at least.

You're welcome, I think "Spatial Anomaly" for Call of Pripyat looks good. I think its on ModDB but I don't think its available yet, I found it on the Russian site though.- Bit.ly

Yes I have noticed quite a few crashes recently, it looks like the original developers didn't implement some things properly. I may be able to fix them but it may be beyond my abilities.

Yes I agree it does feel very similar to STALKERSOUP, the spawns have been ramped up at the Cordon which is a challenge but a welcome one I think.

The mod is in English, I bundled the English translation by TKGP along with it but it does still need a Russian version of ShoC otherwise it will crash.

I bundled the English translation by TKGP along with it, so you don't have to worry about that. It does still require a Russian version of ShoC though but that's easy enough to obtain.

Is it crashing immediately or when you play for a while? Because if its crashing immediately it is likely you didn't install it on a Russian version of the game.

Yah sorry if the HUD bothers you, it just didn't bother me so I didn't bother changing it, I like more minimal HUD's anyway but different strokes for different folks I guess. As for the "bin" folder goes it may have something to do with Steam, for some reason I din't think to test it with a Steam version so I'll look into that.

That's strange that the game crashes with the "bin" folder, I tried the mod on a different system and it worked fine so I'm not sure what is going on there, it might be the SweetFX, are you running the Russian version of the game? As for the HUD, its supposed to look like that, the original mod from the Russian site didn't have a minimap or ammo-counter and had this ugly unnecessary "Clear Sky style" texture around the health and stamina bars so I removed it (it was purely decorative and served no purpose trust me). Don't worry about your monitor resolution (I use 1680x1050 too), I may upload a "patch" of sorts sometime in the future to fix the wonky health and stamina bars though so keep an eye out.

Yes it needs the Russian version, the easiest way to
obtain it is to buy it on GOG here- Bit.ly
If you have a ShoC CD key you can claim it here- Bit.ly
It gives you the option to download in different languages,
select "русский" in the drop-down list.
I'm not sure about extra mods installed with it, you can try. Anything that just changes textures and sound etc. should be fine though.

It adds a lot of altered quests, new quests etc. The spawns have been ramped up as well (have you ever fought two bloodsuckers in the cordon?). You can also play as one of several different factions with various spawn locations. Sorry for not adding many details I'll make sure to add them to the description soon.
