i really like this mod :) its one of my all time favorites for mw2. i downloaded this when it first came out and have been a fan ever since. but i do have some issues with it, and i hope you'll hear me out because these issues feel pretty damn serious.

mercenaries:

some mercenaries seem to have a missing textures symbol/skin or look silver. it would be handy to atleast have them all checked up and receive some kind of placeholder to make them look human, not like walking glitches.

sieges:

it seems this mod has disabled the ability to capture a town centre and thus win the siege by capture. i hope its not intentional. because this makes it literally impossible sometimes to win a siege when you play with an army that can't get capable infantry on the wall to kill all wall campers who just sit there forever. it makes you forced to quit and lose a siege you already won. wich is absolutely ridiculous.

last but not least and definitely the most important:
the trait and ancillary system.

how does it work? i can see that i can gain ancillaries and traits under certain conditions, although i can't see the odds. and i can transfer them. i can also see that keeping generals busy and close to capital/king may lead to more loyalty. but at the same time, some super loyal generals instantly become disloyal for no reason. its also common occurence that a general send to the capital, king or both does not increase loyalty at all. while some generals who gained a few random king's eye traits, fighting and camping on the edge of my vast empire remain perfectly loyal. i REALLY need some documentation on that. because the rational approach seems to work far too inconsistently.

ah that, you need to go into your mod folder and then players/(username)/config and set com_hunkmegs to "512" wich is the max amount of ram cod 2 allows you to use for the game.

If you installed the game by just dragging the files straight into your main cod 2 folder however, you need to go to call of duty 2/main/players/config instead. hope it helped

first of all, let me commend you for making a mod that feels so filling and natural to the original game. it really seems to add a bit of everything to make cod 2 live again. i'd give the extra content a 9/10 personally when i compare it to other alternatives. however, even this mod has issues. and i'd definitely like to state them considering how big of an impact they had on my enjoyment on the AI behaviour and "custom campaign missions".

the new maps were relatively bland due to the fact that the map design seemed mostly practical and didn't seem to have much aesthetics. but that was only a minor problem. and i was able to continue due to how intriguing i found them. but as i progressed through all of the russian custom missions, i definitely could not help but notice the bigger issues of the mod.

1: the ai is 99% aimbot on veteran. as in the only way to survive is to do 0,1 second quickscope with a good rifle and duck back into cover. or hit all targets at close with automatics/semi auto's to stun and kill them so they can't damage then. and by aimbot, i mean some REAL and SERIOUS level of aimbot with 99% of the enemies fixating on the player when he/she pops out with even the tip of a helmet for a second and get you critical or dead in that same second. of course you could say: but good sir, why didn't you just lower the difficulty? indeed i did. to hardened. and it made vanilla maps manageable again to an acceptable degree. as infinity ward knew how to balance spawns, cover and progression on them. the custom maps however, did not do so well. almost particularly the russian ones. "the sniper's war" had an ending objective where you had to rush the german entrenchment on the other side of the plaza. the germans had 3/4 mg's installed and it killed the russians rushing in in 5 secs while no reinforcements came. a feature cod 1 and 2 vanilla def have so you can actually push UP. this made the battle very extremely difficult as everything fixated almost entirely on you. then onto leningrad, i was already aware of the fact that the mod devs concluded that mg's should for some reason always fixate on the player when spotted, but dear god, who thought it was a good idea to have you rush open fields with mg installments? the last objective even having you rush a flat field guarded by 4 bunkers with mg's? all your allies die in 2 sec and you die INSTANTLY if you go anywhere near. and due to 0 cover you will simply never get there. these issues really made me doubt to continue this mod and i hope it gets fixed. - a fan

in my campaign roughly 230 days have already past. but the ai will never capture a fort. EVER. all they do is go to the fort and put it under siege for half a week to a week then go away. then repeat the whole process. and this happens for every fort. after 100+ days of fighting, the only fort that has been taken from another country is the one that I captured! if it weren't for me capturing it then the map would still remain the exact same as it was on day 1
