You could download SirHinkel's GSM missions to use with this mod, the missions are singleplayer supported and yes you can into play as Poland! :D

@hoho96 The tube above the barrel is a recoil recuperator, fitted to reduce the amount of stress the turret recieves when firing the 75mm main gun. The ball mounts on the sides are indeed machineguns (8mm Mitrailleuse mle 1931 "Reibel").
The rear tower featured a machinegun as well.

1. The gun mounted on the T95/T28 is an AT-CANNON not a MORTAR.

2. It was designed to knock out the heaviest of german armor.

3. The project was abandoned due to the end of WW2 and the uprising of the Main Battle Tank.

5. You are probably thinking of the self propelled artillery T92 not T95.

Gun Motor Carriage* ;D And while it is very powerful; it is also very slow which partially contradicts its power (and the top armor is easily destroyed with a AT-grenade). You can find a poorly made version of the T28 (the transport version of the T95, with two sets of tracks instead of four) in Cromtec's tank pack for the original Men of War and then add it to Assault Squad (if you know how to).

Chakal, could you add the Hungarian tankdestroyer "Zrínyi2" to the next version of War Realism? I've come to notice that it was included in the Hungarian vehicles mod but not in the latest War Realism version. Much appreciated / Awsumpawsum

Hi Chakal, and kudos too you sir for this update! I really liked the overhaul of the mortars but i found a bug, some mortar shells doesn't make a sound on ground impact (unless it hits a object). Apart from that, the impacts looks really impressive and realistic. Good job!

Actually it's not that hard, I'll explain. First you need some basic MoW modding knowledge (how to create a structured mod.info file) when you created the mod.info file, create a folder in Men of War Assault Squad>Mods, call it whatever you want and put the mod.info file in it. Now you've created a mod! A mod works like a temporary overwrite on your main MoW directory, e.g if you want to do a sound mod you would (in the root of your mod) create a folder called resource, then copy the original sound.pak file (located in the original MoW directory's resource folder), paste it into your mod's resource folder, then open it and edit it with a third party software (like Dragon Unpacker, I'll come to the editing part later). If you enable the mod ingame the game would use your sound.pak file instead of the original one. So if you want to edit/add units to the skirmish missions you would just copy the map.pak file and do like I explained before but with the map.pak instead of sound.pak. If you you open the map.pak file (use the Dragon Unpacker) you will see a bunch of directories, you will find the skirmishes under map.pak\map\single. If you expand the single folder you will see all the skirmishes and if you expand e.g the 01_usa-skirmish folder you will see all the american skirmish maps. Now choose a mission to edit and click on the the mission folder, you should see a list of files to the right of the folder list. There should be a file at the bottom of the list that is called skirmish_units(usa).mi (skirmish_units(ger) if you choose german skirmish and (skirmish_units(jap) if you choose japanese etc.), extract that file and then edit it in wordpad, you need to know basic MoW values and stuff (like how to set xform and MID, pretty easy to learn). Now put the modified file back in to the map.pak file, overwrite the old .mi file and then it's done, you've successfully made a skirmish mod (if you have followed the instructions correctly). Hope it helped!

The reason that there aren't many planes nor ships is that the maps simply are too small for effective naval or air combat. Maybe someone could do a huge men of war naval map with carriers and planes. To answer your second question: have you tried to lower the effects quality to low? If it still lags it is possible that the dedicated RAM amount is smaller than 2gb, wich can cause lag with effects or too many entities.

1. Extract the Cold War 1.4.8.2 mod to the Mods folder.

2. Install the Cold War 1.4.9 patch and specify the path to the Men of War Assault Squad folder.

3. Download the 1.4.9 English localisation v.2 and extract it in the Mods folder as a separate mod.

4. Run Men of War: AS and apply the two mods in options>mods.

5. Enjoy the mod!

Hope you still read the comments on moddb, cuz i have a question. I am a huge Arma (and men of war) fan, therefore i would like to know if the existent tanks and firearms etc. in this mod is final or will you import more stuff from arma (like all the stuff :3)? Plz answer, your mod is the best men of war mod besides the war realism mod!
