But I also have another question. Is it normal that the Lokta Caravan Guard have no shoes, all of them being bare feet?

So I must admit that I have a little issue.
A couple days ago I defeated the Forest Bandit Leader near Dhirim, which gave me one of the gemstones and the 1/6 of the new map.
But despite this, every time I attack any kind of bandits, I still only get parts of the basic map (4 parts)
Is there something i am doing wrong?
