how did you do it? this is the second day now that i can not get this mod to work on steam. ugh

I can not manage to download the mod to the game (i run it on steam). I have tried everything and even googled how to download mods to steam and it still will not work for me. i really want to play this mod, and am slightly heart broken right now. can anyone help me figure this out plz?
