the game lets me play for a solid minute before this error pops up, i think it might have to do with the mod.
any fixes/advice?

Why yes you can, you simply need to go to the mod's gamedata file > scripts > screamback.script. After you open the file, find the line "if dik == DIK_keys.DIK_M" and replace M with any key of your choosing.
It's not a reupload, I made this. Although I'd like to know where you saw it.
