GAMMA has a couple of different mods that change the name of the mesh file for certain important NPCs; for example, Duty's leader in Rostok had his mesh file name changed to stalker_dolg_voronin.
Without a mesh for a character, the game crashes, or at least, that's what Ive been getting.
I was actually working on one. Seemed like a simple case of needing to rename the correct .ogf (mesh) files to prevent crashes.

As for the previously mentioned compatibility with GAMMA, it *seems* that HD Models' incompatibility is a case of needing certain .ogf files from Dux's Innumerable Characters Kit; thud far, I've simply been able to make HD Models work by copying over the actors/meshes file folder, and setting HD models to overwrite it, which keeps the files that would otherwise be missing. I'm actually trying to nail down which exact files are necessary right now.
Hope to see the mod soon! I love Daito and everyone else that worked on HD Models, but I much prefer these.
My only remaining question is, will this have appropriate adjustments to work well with THAP?
Hey Raito, I'm working on a basic patch to get HD models to work with GAMMA. Is there any chance I can get an outline of which characters should have what mesh? For example, which mesh would the character "Hatchet" use?

For those using MO2: Install it, accept that the layout won't work. Put the first "textures" folder into a new folder "gamedata". Profit.
Yeah, HD Models isn't for everyone. Only one decent alternative I found, other than just sticking with the vanilla Anomaly models.
I like HD Models because they look...believable. Most of it is based on real-world items, and it helps me immerse myself. As much as I enjoy STALKER's style, it has gotten old after nearly a decade.
Question: What was the difference between Update6 and Update 7?
EDIT: Okay, second question (you're not the only one who plays STALKER drunk :D) Will your next update make the hands more closely match those of HD models? Been looking for one that does that, I guess I'm OCD. Not ******** on your hands, they are DOPE but wondering if you would do that.
Any way to get Beef's NVG to work with this OP?
Look up WinMerge, and a tutorial. You can merge the .ltx files and make those mods play nicely together, I do.
Also, found a sound issue with one of the TAZ guns.

Any chance we could get new animations for AR-15 type guns from somewhere? Been looking, can't find 'em. Creeps me out to see my M4s be loaded like they're just a slightly different AK.
Plus, the guns are quite shiny again.... tried to fix it with the patch from SSR's comment section, but that doesn't work.

Also, methinks that the BaS guns aren't playing well with JSRS sounds.

Quick question: Any way that the gunshots can be made louder? I've installed Grok's sound improvement mod, which helped, but I can't help but feel that many of the weapons are muffled.
Any help/response would be dope.
