If you're not on invictus or can spawn into debug spawn in an sks and a scope and see if it crashes when you attach it

That may be it. I always test in debug and unfortunately with this I can't guarantee it'll always work on a previous save.

In the previous version I was fully overwriting the sks. This new method is supposed to be less invasive. It's difficult to Guage why it's happening however since this works on my evd

Most of the work for BaS is included in this. The rest is on the gamma server. However you may need blindsides animations and EFT reposition for it to properly work outside of GAMMA. If someone wants to finish the weapons I left behind using the resources in this mod they're welcome to, But I wont be doing a full stand alone version.

Update 5/24/24 - Fixed a few mesh issues. Added new textures for eventual change of susat scope and gauss scope models. More reflective lenses!

UPDATE 5/21/24 - Some minor bug fixes

UPDATE 5/19/24 - BIG UPDATE! All Guns have been fixed to a new method of lens hiding. This includes the LMGs that I had previously left without lenses. This fixes the issue with scopes guns having muzzle flash inside their bodies. This also streamlines future implementation of scopes with lens hiding and a cheeky secret thing.

HUGE THANKS to NLTP_ASHES for letting me include his updated lens hiding script with this mod. This should fix the crash related to that script.

Meowie Has gifted us with beautifully reflective scope lens textures as well as some new/improved reticles

Replaced the old AK105 kits with the models by Phant0m, along with my own edits to further distinguish the guns. I've also added new icons for each gun. If you have an ak105 swamp/shakal from before this update I would suggest deleting it before updating and spawning in a new one.

Expanded the scopes of a few more guns. The g36s in particular received a buff/nerf and have now had their scopes properly divided into the scopes and the scope kits.

Replaced the icon for the march shorty w/ canted sight kit with one that better matches the BaS kit icons. Also fixed up the march shorty icon a bit.

Added a new Scope: The Leupold Devo w/ LCO (scope on the ak5c ISG Special). Currently not added to any guns but it is now available for future use.

As always, A few adjustments have been done on scope position. I'm sure there's something else I'm missing but i forgor probably. This might be the last update to the main file for a while. There are still a few things I can change later.

UPDATE 5/6/24 - Finished almost all scopes at this point with the updated lens hiding script. The only ones left are belt fed LMGs as getting the lens to work on those is a bit more involved. I'll be putting those to the side for now to update other 3DSS mods found on the GAMMA discord. Various other positions were adjusted since I pretty much did a revision of all scopes to make sure the lenses worked correctly on each model.

UPDATE 5/7/24 - Fixed a few crashes associated with some guns.

UPDATE 5/10/24 - Fixed some incompatibility caused by crash fixes. OOPS

I've been playing around with this on BAS guns and I've run into a small conflict. It seems that having an LED illuminated scope will conflict with a canted sight and will turn it into a blob that also switches color. I guess whatever shader controls the scope also controls the canted dot. I tried going around it by using 3ds_type = 5 thinking it wouldn't be touched since it's a different channel but it still happened anyway.

So I tried adding this to Gamma and it seems to conflict with the Taskboard mod. None of the scripts conflict but it causes a crash through g.script at line 518 every time I try to access the taskboard tab. I remove this mod and i can access the taskboard again. I tried it out in debug too and it still caused the crash. I'm not sure if this pops up in vanilla with these two mods loaded up or if it's just whatever script soup gamma has going on that's causing the issue but at the very least the crash disappears after disabling this mod. Really sucks cause this seems like an awesome mod and i love your other stuff!

ive been playing with this for a while and i gotta say its a great mod. excited to see the rest of the series. my only request would be an option to remove the "lewd" and "thompson" wording from the icons. I currently use a mod that removed (BaS) from bas weapons for a cleaner UI and would love to see that option for these guns as well.
