Ah I see, thanks for letting me know! But yeah, I definitely recommend checking TimeShift out. Particularly the first 2 levels where it's raining. I think it was very much inspired by Half Life. It has the whole propaganda thing going on too.

Glad to see RTBR retail is still being worked on! Really enjoyed what you've released so far. I was wondering if you plan on adding rain to some of the City 17 maps? I haven't seen any retail-to-beta conversion mods do that and I think it'd really add to the dark and gritty atmosphere. Other than the beta, there's this game called TimeShift that has that rainy atmosphere and I think it'd translate well to Half Life. Just a suggestion, looking forward to what you all have in store!

any way to get this working in HL2VR? putting hl2ffr_main and hk2ffr_maps into the hlvr custom older results in texture issues

Thanks for offering to help but I was able to figure it out. I had to install the game with the CD version. The steam version was causing me problems.

When I tried launching the TODOA.bat file, I get an error saying "failed to launch JK.exe" I followed the installation instructions, but I can't seem to get it to launch. I'm using the steam version.

Thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately it still isn't working but I'll keep trying. Update: I got it working! Looks like there was a specific skin that doesn't work.

Do you know how to get cm2013 skins to work for mmod? I followed your steps and it works for the other models but alyx shows up as a purple and black checkerboard.

Were you able to get any custom alyx skins working? All of the other ones work fine but alyx is a purple and black checkerboard.

would it be possible to get character pimper working for version 1.3 of cmod + mmod? I believe version 1.2 works but id rather use 1.3.
