Stupid question but how? I would like to experiment playing stalker with a controller but I don't know how to set it up. Is it just remapping? Another problem is that stalker has a ton of keybinds so how do you handle all of them? Perhaps can you share your user.ltx file for controllers?

Just an FYI to anyone confused about this mod. It replaces the icon of the item called Picture Of Loved One from the girl to any choice between two images of dead russian soldiers from the ukrainian war. I wouldn't get this mod because it doesn't change the item descriptions or anything to make it make sense in the stalker universe. + Doesn't provide any value/add immersion or do anything really.

I get a fatal error everytime I open the game.

When I looked at the logs I found this:

This specific script is from this addon.

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Edit: in case you say that the file doesn't exist... it actually does. in the exact same name. thats why im super confused.

Edit2: Talked to dev on discord and he told me despawn_guns.script doesn't even work. Therefore, it shows an error but doesn't crash your game. I found my problem is with my own addon. Therefore, if you see an error in your logs that says that despawn_guns.script wont load. That is okay and doesn't matter. You can just delete the script.

is this a standalone addon or do i need to install Moddb.com?

If I'm using JSGME I would install that addon first then this one?

Most mods should not be affected very much as this mod only changes gamedata/textures/fx/fx_stalker_001.thm. (Changes around 60 texture files.) You should look into the mods you use and see if they change the fx folder. Vanilla install should not be needed but I could be wrong.

It has a list of guns that it deletes from the game.

Then BAS autodeleted it because these weapons appear to break BAS. You could try to delete it from the script but idk the side effects.
I bet this script plays everytime you switch locations so therefore it plays as soon as you switched into the northern areas. I have no clue and this is all just a guess.

Its an ogg file. It doesn't have cyrillic or any unsupported charcaters in its name. I renamed it to Sahara.ogg. I have no clue why it just skips my song when i play it in the media player in the PDA.
