Why do my projected income do not reflect accurately or atleast close to it.

I mean my projected income was like almost 8k but then after the turn I'll only get 4-5k or worse 2-3k with no changes to trade routes being raided or cancelled Trade agreement. Is that part of the mod?

Also on Very Hard Battle I noticed, when my Irish brigade fired on the pirates(almost point blank range) they barely killed around 3-5 people but when the pirate returend fire my fresh Irish brigade was down to 140(240) and was wavering after a single volley from the enemy.

Is that part of the buff the AI receives on higher difficulty?

Finally...

I don't know about you guys but in my game I have about 9 companions and recruited them from the start at the tavern from Weeping town. I checked the "Gather companions" from the character creation so maybe that's it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that what missing from my game was a ransom broker, I tried asking some travelers but they haven't met any.
