As you may have noticed; these guys look exactly like the Knights/Chavaliers/Paladins in Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, which is intended.

Copying other "Napoleonic" mods? Namely which ones? The development of this mod began when Age of Empires III was released in 2005.
I think the only "Napoleonic" mod existing at that time was the one for Rome: Total War by Lordz.

Anyway you can't blame the mod for a game that it mods, nor can't you blame the mod for being boring without having played it. It doesn't just add things from the Napoleonic time, it adds lots of European stuff from the time between 1400 and 1860 AD.
