I see some people might have this issue after upgrading to 4.3 where the game asks for a Viking Conquest DLC serial key.
If you have this problem this is the solution to it, in the module folder of M&B's main directory, go inside the AWOIAF folder, there you'll find a .ini file named "Module", open that and change the "operation set value" line from 1170 to 1100.

You probably need to download the latest version of that MS package. That's an odd error though, is your machine old?
