This is an outstanding version of NS. Much cleaner, smoother and easier to understand for those of us who don't speak Russian.
Even the anomalies are cool to look at. The weapons are well done both in appearance and function. This should def. be in you STALKER collection.
This mod makes you feel like part of something larger. If you're in it for money be a Merc. Want to protect the zone? go Freedom. Is the zone a curse? Duty can help that. Not sure? Be a Loner/Defiance. The link below might be helpful in your choice of faction:
Great experience so far. There is enough SoC to draw you in, and plenty of "new" things to keep you going. The author is also easy to deal with.

Starbases should be more powerful/influential.
The original game was pretty good but I felt like it was missing something.
This mod makes the game seem more alive and straight forward.
