Confirmed. I just did the same thing again, and the mission was completed without me interfering (MLRSes were not deployed in this one either- you just have to wait a bit). It's unclear if being of foot plays any role in this, as I never managed to keep my tank in one piece (despite being proficient with my touchpad, I still suck at being a commando.)

More bugs tommorow!

More bugs!

in level 4 (baby sitter) when you reload a checkpoint, if you had taken one of the missile launchers, it will be missing. Also you can trap yourself behind the barrels if you jump onto them from above (i.e. are being an idiot.) Just thought you should know.

More importantly, I managed to get the 'No HUD' bug again. This time it doesn't occur every time, but when it does there aren't any units on the level: friend, foe or The Tank (I suspect it's a *different* 'No HUD' bug) and you can finish by simply running to the objective on foot (No MLRSes are necessary, nor do they appear.)
You can also finish sometimes without doing anything (this only happened once, so my best guess is: deliver MLRSes to the objective, have one killed (by the remaining enemy forces), then re-spawn and wait.) Will investigate further.

I'd like to submit a bug report (but can't find where to do it, so I'll just dump it here like the lazy bum I am):

In the 3rd level (SAM sites) when you restart from the 2nd checkpoint (having just blown up the 1st SAM). I get full health (not a bug?) and NO HUD. I've reproduced this bug 3 times without fail. Switching weapons, perspective or turning on sights (which only changes screen color, and doesn't actually display sights) does not help. Restarting objective (level) does fix it, but there's an unskipable cutscene, so that's not convenient at all.
I'm running a 64-bit Win7 'Professional' on a laptop.
