Does anyone now how to view those yellow lines that show unit paths in space battles? I have seen them in a lot of youtube videos but my google searches have been fruitless.

I encountered a problem like this when I tried to make a virtual copy of the game CD using Daemon tools so that I didn't have to carry around a external CD drive to play the game. I was able to make a copy, but the game displayed an error like that and I eventually broke down and got the steam version.

The truth is that in RaW, most planets have almost no strategic value, which I think is actually a good thing. The key is figuring out which ones do have value, and capturing them early on in the game. In RaW, you don't have to win every battle, in fact you only have to win a few. The key is winning the battles that count.

Just for reference, here are some planets that can generate large amounts of credits:

Geonosis
Mygeeto
Bespin

These planets are key to winning the game

The CIS makes as much money as it does because of Mygeeto. Mygeeto with mining facilities and the new orbital Nova Crystal mines makes almost 10000 per day. Your first goal when playing as the Republic in galactic conquest should always be the capture of Mygeeto.

Edit: I just realized you said this in regards to skirmishes. What I said still holds true though.

I have had that crashing problem since 1.1.5. Thankfully it is pretty rare

What in the world possessed y'all to increase the health of ground structures tenfold?

I am currently working on my own hotfix the health of ground structures back to their 1.1.5 levels.

I think you should try for an emergency patch to at least reduce the health of ground structures. It makes ground battles unplayable.

Also, I believe there is a bug with venator turrets in which they sometimes don't fire unless commanded to.

One thing I have noticed about 1.2 is that Venators have been heavily debuffed, which is bad because it is the only capital ship the Republic has (Actually it is technically classified as a cruiser). Is there any chance we can get a dedicated anti-ship vessel? I like the idea of some sort of Republic battlecruiser.

I have noticed that infantry bunkers have way too much health. Just destroying one bunker takes a long time even with a large mechanized force. Also I have noticed some battles seem to auto-resolve automatically without the user getting any notifications that such a battle even occurred.

Yeah, its strange how even in large space battles I don't experience lag, but there are sometimes terrible bursts of lag in the GC screen
