Hello,
I am currently in need of a Concept/Character Artist for a game I am developing. The game is about a legendary character in Pashtun folklore Amir Kror. This project is a passion project of mine, whatever I earn from my day job I invest into this project.
What is Needed?
- The concept art style must lean towards realism.
- Concept Artists who have an Anime art style are urged NOT to apply
For the Artists's information
- The character needed to be sketched is Amir Kror, a legendary warrior poet from Central Asia.
- Provided below are links to excerpts from two chapters from the game's story. This is to provide a reference for the Artist.
- The story takes place in Central Asia between 730 - 771 A.D.
- Use the excerpts to provide a sketch of the character on the basis of which you may be selected
- If you are selected please communicate the rate for your services and once this rate is fixed and agreed upon by both parties it is non negotiable for the remainder of the project.
- I will not pay by the hour and I will not pay extra for any revisions agreed upon of the concept art.
- Please note that the trial sketches on the basis of which the selection of the right artist will happen will not be financially reimbursed. Rather after the selection, the artist and I will have an extensive discussion as to the visual appearance of Amir Kror.

Meter/Medium of Payment
I will pay the artist per concept art. The amount to be paid per concept art will be determined. The medium through which payments will be conducted is via Skrill as Paypal is not available in my country.
The selected artist will be paid per piece in two stages; the first half will be given prior to beginning work on the commission whereas the rest will be paid to the artist after the concept piece has been finalised (with any necessary revisions if needed)
