For everyone that likes Warhammer 40k Tabletop and Dawn of War Games or anything to do with Warhammer 40K.
The Dies Irae was an infamous Imperator-class battle titan of Legio Mortis, the "Death's Heads". During the Horus Heresy the titan followed its legion comrades into betrayal and took part in the treachery on Isstvan III, firing some of the first shots of the civil war when it turned its guns on the loyalist survivors of the virus bombing. Dies Irae was seen during the Siege of Terra, spearheading the traitor assault on the Imperial Palace's inner defence perimeter. The ancient war engine was finally vanquished during the Siege of Hydra Cordatus in late M41, hopefully to never rise again.
Or "I wanted to do a scene with my new Chaos Emperor Titan model and painted it in Legio Mortis colors for reasons".
Of course you made the largest titan around.....
Joazzz never disappoints
I've actually modelled this thing three times now:
-the first attempt was recognizable but poor.
-the second one had a much better level of detail while staying faithful to the Epic scale miniature but it was still somewhat clumsy in appearance.
-and this latest version retains the important elements but is completely redesigned otherwise, being much more gothic in appearance (as you can see) and incorporating ideas from the new Warlord Titan design.
Did any of the HH books stated what happened to the short-slighted buffoon with a wet dream for mating with his "own" titan? I really, REALLY wanted that guy to get rectally penetrated by a Slaneshi demon engine.
Most likely got turned into a fleshy mass and absorbed by his hown command throne for his troubles
You are bordering on heresy right there...
And I'm ok with that. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The Collegia Titanica had to wait long time for it's vengeance 10000 years now that's a long time.
I cannot even imagine the frustration those guys have built up over that time.
