Maybe she killed Space marine with gun, and then soaked her blade into his blood, just to show off :D
who knows might be a warrior thing where they take the decapitated heads of their fallen enemies as trophies kinda like what Samurai did in Japan.
Actually aside from the pointless sex appeal this would make a great little insight into a tau fire warriors mind set & culture.
