and Armistice day(the unofficial ending of WW1)
Guess it's not that important to us.
In either case, it's more or less the same holiday; remembering and honoring those who fought and died so we wouldn't have to.
At first it was Armistice day, but America merged its Veterans Day holiday with it, and we just call it Veterans day to honor all soldiers who fought in any war, including the World War 1 in this discussion.
