In a closed meeting on Christophsis sat a Federation representatives along with representatives from the Neutral Sectors of Falleen, Shadda-Bi-Boran, Bothawui and a Hologram of General-Secretary Thain of the Ruusan Council. A spokesman initiates the meeting with a few comments.
"Welcome everyone and thank you for coming to this meeting. I would also like the thank our hosts, the people of Christophsis, for allowing this meeting to take place here.
As you are all well aware, conflict have erupted in the Ruusan Sector. The Mandalorians have, for the second time since the New Era, violated the right of Neutrality. They have crossed Neutral Sector Borders with military vessels, in the name of "diplomacy" and "common protection". In these instances, sectors have as a result more often than not being either intimidated into servitude or said No, with it being forced upon them.
I will now allow the Council leader of Ruusan to speak first, as to the situation at Ruusan".
THAIN:
"Thank you. Let it first be known, that the Council was in agreement of refusing the Mandalorians, both their claim, and their offer. The claim being that the Ruusan systems were housing terrorist organisations, whom are supposedly attacking the Mandalorians from within our borders, their justification for this conflict. Their offer was to join their Hegemony.
In the case of their claim, before they attacked, there was no indication of terrorists and since there attack, there still isn't. But there will be! Sooner or later, people will take matters into their own hands, because in all honestly, our military stand no chance of winning on their own. To make it worse, the conflict have split the council, the various systems are switching their allegiance to whomever they think can save them. Some might soon accept the Mandalorians offer, some have called upon The Empire and some are even talking with the Hutts!
In case of my own system, and homeworld; Ruusan. I hope that the Federation may be able to help, And they have responded with an offer, a treaty of membership. I will let them talk more about that."
FEDERATION SENATOR:
"You spoke well, Mr. Thain." The Senator said and gave a small bowing gesture. Some also noticed that this was the same Senator who made the spontaneous public speech on Eriadu.
"In light of these events, the Federation extends an offer of military aid to the neutral sectors who wish it. However, the Federation in uncomfortable with risking a potentially very straining conflict, so in order to hopefully avoid both further aggression from the Mandalorians and more conflicts, we propose a treaty, we propose membership into the Federation."
He continued after taking something to drink; "I shall now bore you with going through the entire Treaty and you have all had it in advance for some time now. Basically what this treaty means is that you are offered full membership in the Federation, with each sector getting a predetermined number of seats on the Senate based and size and the number of systems. Locally, you retain your own security, government and to a certain extent, your own laws. The latter part meaning that the Federation preserve the right to enforce nation wide Laws and Acts like, The Right of Sentience or Laws against certain products proclaimed Illegal by the Senate.
You can all of course look further into this, as all this Legislation is for public viewing on the Holonet. Now a short break where you can talk internally and think a little of what I have said. As soon as you are ready, we will continue and the word can be passed around for those who wish to speak, or perhaps have already decided.

OOC: Well, wanted to discuss some other things before we jumped into this but its alright. I suppose I'll be RPing the Bothan, and Falleenian [and a planet that got destroyed in a supernova? Seems that we both forgot about that] Representatives?
OOC: Hahaha. Why the hell is that planet a sector capital? xD
I didn't even know. Or I forgot... We'll need to sort that out at some point.
But yes, you will be roleplaying the Sector Representatives. If you want ;D
K, give me until tomorrow night to think up some good stuff for them to say. I'm tired after working all day today.
Wow, I'm so far behind in events... I should probably play catch-up at some point this week.
OOC: Since Praxis have resigned as GM, I guess I should wrap this up... I will make another comment, give people a day to chip in then just finalize this I guess.

*The meeting resumed, and the representatives made a short comment that they needed more time to think and asked if the Federation had heard any news of the Ruusan conflict. However they were unable to make contact with General-Secretary Thain, casing many of the representatives to whisper among each other. The Federation Senator stood up.
"As you can all see, we have lost contact with Mr. Thain. It would seem that the Mandalorians have entered the system of Ruusan itself, which confirms some disturbing reports that we have just received.
Not long ago, B.A.C.T.A contacted the Federation reporting that the Mandalorians opened fire on their ships as they were preparing to provide aid once the conflict escalated. As a result and out of fear for their employees. The B.A.C.T.A Fond have withdrawn from the Ruusan sector. There are still many in the Ruusan sector but they fear an attempt to retrieve them will result in more hostility.
It would seem not even neutral humanitarian groups can be expected to have their neutrality respected. And if I may say; this further proves the Mandalorian intentions are not honest."
