My esteemed colleagues in the senate it is at this time of uncertainty that i put forth the motion to allocate emergency funds into the B.A.C.T.A Organisation to aid in their relief efforts in the bakura sector so that they may be better equiped to help our fleeing and displaced citizens so i call upon you my fellow senators to show compassion in this time of uncertainty and help these people do what needs to be done

Many of the senators, having not done their research due to their preference for extravagant lifestyles rather than the massive amount of reading required for them to do their jobs, glance at each other, unsure what exactly the B.A.C.T.A. Organization is. One senator speaks up for the others.

"Perhaps if you were to define the nature of the B.A.C.T.A. Organization, we will consider it. Likewise, it would be gracious of you to share exactly what is happening in the Bakura sector to prompt this mass panic? We would like to know, in order to fully consider our options. If this program is anything like what it sounds, diverting funding to it may prove to be no small task."

The B.A.C.T.A organisation is an humanitarian group that provides aid to those who need it the most be it supplies such as food, drinks, and medical supplies or even temporary housing to those who have been displaced by war or natural disasters and with the current amount of refugees they are ill funded to deal with this situation alone.

Getting to the situation in the Bakura sector intelligence is still looking into that mater however our people are in trouble now would you really wait while our people starve and die they need to know this government can and will act to protect them and I believe allocating these funds will show them that at least we care enough to help them in this troubling period of their lives. If we do not allocate these funds to assist in this relief effort i fear the people may start to lose faith in our ability to act in their interest

The senators mull over the information for a few moments, discussing amongst themselves via a private communication channel linked to each group of senators, allowing their deliberations to go unmonitored.

After a few minutes, a senator speaks up. "After some thought, we have decided to approve a limited diversion of funds to this B.A.C.T.A. program, until your intelligence network can fully ascertain the cause of the situation."

While many of the senators look as if they disagree with the decision, instead preferring to dedicate more money to the relief effort, none of them speak up, their objections having already been voiced and noted in the private deliberations.

The terms are agreeable and im sure the people getting assistance from this funding will appreciate the effort put forth by this government at least they know that we will not abandon them to suffer alone.
