This group is for everyone who like tanks, sci-fi tanks, real tanks, funny tanks, you can put here tank mods, tank maps, simply everything with straps, armor and gun :D
Well, this Panther has a very strange and unusual camouflage pattern on it. In Company of Heroes 2, that camouflage is known as the 'Late War Factory Pattern'. It's my favorite vehicle camouflage in the game since it looks cool. But I wonder what the Germans called the paint scheme.
It's called the "Streifentarnung" (stripe camo), mainly found on some very late-war panthers from the end of 1944. The "camo" was used because they lacked green/yellow paint and had to use the corrosion protection as part of the paint job.
Ah, okay. It's one of the final camouflage schemes used during the final months of that war. I admire it though because it's so unique. Some COH 2 fans refer to it as the 'Candy Cane Camo'. ^^
i know the origin on this paint job, its a combination of the base red coat (red oxide) applied to all of the tanks (during WWII Nazi Germany) before top coat paint. And some paint they had in the work shop (the green and white)
This tank has never seen combat and was captured in pieces in the workshop, it is believed to be a "Frankenstein" of numerous panther variations. the workers in the factory assembled it and it was shipped back to England for testing and trials.
I personally would kill for a chance to see inside it, imagine it, no rust, no damage, just plain white and beautifully full interior...

THIS IS PANTHER PANZER!
Probably the most technologically advanced tank of it's time, also a real eye candy =)
It looks like candy too. :P
LOL!
