south Korean modified copy of the american Abrams
it looks a lot more low profile than the M1A2.

Its not a modified Abrams its an original S Korean designed tank that is heavily based on that of the Abrams. Its electronics are also far more sophisticated that its US counterparts. The Abrams is also much larger than this tank and better armed with a 120mm main gun and its special DU SABOT AT rounds.
This tank also uses the same Chobham armor as the Abrams. Its armed with a KM256 120mm with 32 rounds IE a licensed copy of the American version of the gun used in the M1A1 Abrams.
Its power plant unlike the Abrams is a more conventional and reliable 10-cyl. water-cooled diesel MTU 871 Ka-501 with 1200 hp (890 kW) at 2600 rpm
More or less its a mush much better and smaller more cost effective version of the Abrams with better electronics. Which may also be why its been nick named the baby Abrams :)
