It was immediately recognized as a masterpiece by SW fans. Force-powers were a little bit embellished and overstated, but I really enjoyed watching Mace dismantle all droids. As for General Grievous, he mopped the floor with Jedi. ^_^
I disagree, I think the force powers were really accurate and where they were insanely over the top it was portrayed in a way where it was through the eyes of a child or a civilian or some other spectator. Overall though, I think that if you can use the force for one smallish/generic thing (ie to grip an object) then it follows that you can use the force for more "fancy" applications (ie to completely disassemble a droid). This is also why I think the force usage in The Force Unleashed isn't excessively over the top and why imo those games are about as significant for the force as the Jedi Knight series was for lightsaber combat.
I honestly think that RoTS video game has the best combat system. There are various, sophisticated combos and you can easily parry most attacks in a showy way. It is heavily concentrated on lightsaber combat.
There's a wonderful mod for JA; Movie Duels, it has a nice combat system.
I'm not entirely sure if it's just a romanticized version of Jedi or they really could unleash such powers. If you relish/enjoy the old EU, then these powers seem somewhat accurate. Luke became even more potent than Sidious at some point.
As for Star-killer, he was Sidious' equal and he would have surpassed him if he fully embraced the dark-side.

This series is so much better than the 2008 clone was. For one it fits with the existing lore and doesn't overwrite it.
