Unfortunate that a revolution in a country like the US would likely destroy our world and stop a lot of hopes for future scientific breakthroughs:( however that being said I agree with what this video presents. I predict a revolution will happen about the year 2015:( even though the cause is noble since getting rid of the fascist state that the US has become is very important. The US government cares less about its population than about the companies that pay them to stay in office. Food Inc. displays how much corporations are protected while US citizens suffer:( basically even though a revolution seems necessary the amount of damage that would be caused to the science, society, civilization, and the environment would be tragic. assassinating or convincing the leaders to stop causing the harm they are causing would be ideal.
There probably will never be an uprising and if there was it would likely be under a corporatist. Obama qualifies but secondly this wont happen for at least a decade unless the attitude of the US rapidly changes.
Of all the nations on this planet, I'd say this would be the last to actually have a revolution. The populace is far too timid and afraid of death, which says something about how overwhelmingly religious it is. I'd sooner expect Canadians to lose their **** over a corrupt government.
Not only are they afraid of death, they have the illusion they are actually free. They think that because they have access to a lot of things to buy and are distracted by media, that nothing is wrong with the country and most of the people who think there's something wrong with the country are bigots who think it's wrong that blacks, gays, and women have rights, and those are tue tools used by the corporate fascism to keep us from uniting against them.
The problem is not Obama, and it never will be Obama, or the liberal party, or even the conservative party for that matter. The problem is that the US government has once again become yet another way for corporations to rule like feudal overlords. Sure, every corporation has it's social advantages, but it's becoming evidently clear that the corporations we depend on wield a great deal of power that often goes unchecked. This world is being trapped in the iron hand of corporal feudalism, and whether the glove be liberal, conservative, religious, environmental, financial, or even scientific, those who form this form of oppression will all find themselves in the same boat, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or culture.
There's a liberal or conservative party? I thought there was just one corporate party and a few dozen outcasts.
