Hello everyone and Happy Holidays!
In the spirit of getting together and sharing, I thought this would be the perfect time to have the first events for the Social Modding Club. My goal is to bring gamers together to share the great online mods we have to play especially those with smaller player bases.
I had planned on using some older mods for my first event. However there have been many new long awaited releases so the first events will be based around Star Wars: Galactic Warfare and MechWarrior: Living Legends. I know that these mods may not be playable by everyone due to graphical limitations or just not owning the games needed.
However there are more events coming that will range across all kinds of games and mods. Also there are forums for users to post their own events or requests for online gaming. So please join the group and look forward to playing great online mods with fellow Moddb & Desura members.

Yeah it will be a slow start but hopefully things will start picking up as the new year rolls in and more people join Desura. We certainly won't run out of great mods to play ;)
