So, I decided to make the first real thread here. I'm gonna talk a little bit about music. Country mostly.

I like lots of types of music. Country and classic country. Classical, some opera, '70s through '90s rock. A little pop and rock pop. I'm not into metal... at all. I don't like much modern rock at all actually. I like some techno-rock type stuff. Like the Half-Life and HL2 (and the Episodes) sound tracks.

Mainly though... I'm a country guy. I got into country after buying Toby Keith's 35 Biggest Hits. Before that, I wasn't really much of a music guy at all. Fairly soon after that, I got a Sony WALKMAN. Then I bought two albums of classic country. Redneck Country and Classic Country Outlaws. Both of which I HIGHLY recommend if you like classic country. I bought two Big & Rich albums after hearing a couple of their songs on NASCAR '08. After that, I was hooked. I LOVE Big & Rich. They're probably my favorite singers of all time still. I also got Keith Anderson's album C'MON! after hearing the song "C'MON!" in NASCAR '09. Great album as well.

My dad got me into Weird Al Yankovic a little less than a year ago. I love Yankovic's stuff as much as Big & Rich now. I also listen to a lot of Cledus T. Judd as he's the Weird Al of country. For example... Toby Keith did "I Love this Bar" and Cledus did "I Love NASCAR." Travis Tritt did "It's a Great Day to be Alive" and Cledus did "It's a Great Day to be a Guy." How Do You Like me Now? How do you Milk a Cow?

Eventually I bought the album Cowboy Town by Brooks & Dunn. It had the song "The Ballad of Jerry Jeff Walker." Jerry Jeff being in my top favorite artists ever and my favorite classic country artist... I had to buy the album. I now have that + the Greatest Hits album Number Ones and Then Some by Brooks & Dunn. I have found that I love those guy's stuff. They are awesome.

A few months ago (maybe 6 months or so) I bought the albums to Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. I have a lot of video game albums now. The Force Unleashed, Assassin's Creed, Red Dead Redemption (which I just got... it's real good), etc.

I can't think of much else to tell. That pretty much sums up my music love lol. Like I said it's mostly country. Feel free to add to this thread. Chat about the country guys you like. The songs that you love the most. Why you love them. Et cetera!

That's all from me for now.

MattmanDude out.

I, to, am a fan of most country. Weird Al is good, and I listen to Elvis and older rock as well.
