From the latest update to "Chaos Heaven" rel 2 - Moddb.com
This map was originally designed as a clan practice map.

Some special features in the design were random playfield objects (as in Archon 1 battle arena). These can be seen on the download page image where some are transparent as they fade in / out.
Another feature was a "death fall" with an occasional random "save" feature. The eventual implementation (which requires the Archon mod: Moddb.com ) gives the option of teleport back up in exchange for a frag. The player was held on a lightning beam while making that choice.
The original map for quake 1 in 96 supported none of these features. Not even the open playfield - vis went on for days and I finally killed it.
