This is a group for all PC gamers from all gaming generations. From the time of PCs like the Comadore 64 to the modern PCs. By PC i don't mean just Windows, I mean them all like Mac and Linux.
We need to support petition against their paid content in the workshop.
Hopefully most of the mods will stay on Nexus which is much better site for Fallout and Skyrim mods.
Steam workshop isn’t so good (in my option) against Nexus because Steam workshop has their own installation which could destroy load order of your mods but in this video is it much better explained why Nexus is much better: Youtube.com
I’m just hoping that Moddb mods will not follow this system.
There is however, a petition in Change.org to remove the paywall on mods.
I'm guessing it'll need way more support than the (at the time of posting) 87k signatures, but it's worth a shot imo. It can show Valve in a quantifiable way their customers do not like this business model.
Seriously, was it that difficult to set up donation buttons? Steam already has account-bound money and all.
When you find out you better to mod old games than wait for new ones. I have seen some expensive games where players pay for additional content that supposed to be base content.
This makes me want to cry!
Also someone should put the quote "Either you die a hero or live long enough to become a villain" on a picture of Gaben/Valve.
This makes me mad. I feel like I was backstabbed.
By a spy?
Mods now cost money...
We have to go back and fix this :(
