The title explains it all but this group is a fan group for the Video Games Mass Effect 1 (ME1), Mass Effect 2 (ME2), and Mass Effect 3 (ME3). This is the place to post images, videos and news about the Mass Effect Universe, comics and games.
Oh, and on a side point.... If life evolves rapidly enough to bring about the complete annihilation of sentient life (of high tech of course) in OUR galaxy within the relatively brief span of 50k yrs, then wouldn't it be likely there is life in a few of the other couple billion galaxies out there? So rather than waiting in darkspace for 50k years, shouldn't the reapers be busy in other galaxies saving organics from themselves? I mean really, if you're doing the whole crazed benevolence thing, then carry it off with a little panache... 0_o
The reapers themselves explain it in their evil bad guy monologues.(sovereign i think) They make sure galactic civ evolves along a certain path(kinetic barriers etc) so it'd be easier to destroy/assimilate them, if they would visit other galaxies they'd lose that edge.
the journey was great, but bioware did more than sink a ship
Amen, they blew away a friggin galaxy!
