The New N7 Armour available to those who preorder from certain retailers
This is but one of many overwhelming reasons that convinced me to Preorder
Mainly because I love the "heavy" look of it
(buried)
looks like crap, its more becoming a gears or halo or spacemarine armor than ME.
You do realise this is meant for heavy combat and as such is more bulky than other armours?
dont write off something just because you dont like the look of it, plus nobody is forcing you to wear it
(buried)
you do realize that this is the comment section where everyone can drop whatever he wants? Remove the head and the N7 logo and it would just fit into any of these + most lesser known like Fracture. Add the dead space armor to any of these and it will look like a dead space armor in the wrong game. thats the difference.
Its just a generic casual armor with nothing special or any rememberable design. You praise it as its the best you have seen and that this alone makes you want to preorder it.
Its mediocre and for mass effect to be mediocre is bad.
i can see how you think Halo, but the Gears armour is much bigger. And the Space Marine armour is ******* huge lol. I can see Imperial guard armour though, but Space Marine armour is way oversized and looks nothing like this...
space marine yes that ones even bigger and more bulky, if gears is bigger well a slight bit http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Acf42AQ9fNM/TVTmQQELTjI/AAAAAAAAAEI/ou_MYuH5KQk/s1600/Gears-of-War-3-Cover.jpg
Gears of War armor aren't armor, they're fridges with armholes.
Can all the boys and girls stop fighting about the armor's look and instead note the absurd amount of stat increases this armor seems to give (does it also brush my teeth mid-battle, Bioware?)
Maybe they're only really tiny stat increases.
Then I fail to see the point besides a bulletpoint for pre-order (which is probably what it is, I realize that). Min-maxers won't be interested in it then and you can always just use the Story mode to breeze through the combat if you're that desperate for a tank-armored Shepard (I myself look forward to this option as I far prefer the shooting mechanics in Uncharted 2 and Killzone 3 to the ones present in Mass Effect 2).
ugly...
Meh, to big for me. I prefer more tight-fitting armor with less holes in it. =/
Why use guns when you can just wear this armor and sit on people?
So how many things are there going to be in the preorder/"special" edition, huh? 40?
How about bringing back the armor system that was in Me1? It was so much better. No Armor DLC ******** and such.
