The title explains it all but this group is a fan group for the Video Games Mass Effect 1 (ME1), Mass Effect 2 (ME2), and Mass Effect 3 (ME3). This is the place to post images, videos and news about the Mass Effect Universe, comics and games.
According to Bioware EC starts around the Cerberus base attack
However as players have played they (including me) didn't notice anything new untill you where running down to the beam (here they explain the squad deal)
Prepare to be disappointed.
True dat.
Expect the worst, that way you might be pleasantly suprised...but probably not
"Truer words were never spoken." Damn you, Adrian!
New colors, yey ಠ_ಠ
Now comes in cyan, yellow and magenta =).
Will watch this on you tube. Don't shure this worth reinstallation of ME3
its a 1.9gb download....1.9gb of cutscenes!! this had serisouly better be worth the reinstall
It is an extended cut so everything is still the same just more.
Exactly. to quote Angry Joe: "Instead of fixing the **** they're just telling us WHY the **** stinks."
And for those of you who do not know this is coming out on the 26th (in three days)
The date was in the title since post
I hate EA...
i agree they destroyed my favourite rts series commander and conguer i want westwood back
I'm with you...
Dam rEAper...
As a ME fan who nearly rioted when I first saw the ending of ME3, I admit I am looking forward to the Extended Cut with some trepidation. However, having had the opportunity to cool off since March 6th and seen the free dlc offered by Bioware (yeah, sure it was the least they could do), I am willing to 'accept' the ending offered by Bioware, even if they keep the red, green, and blue selections.
This is due to Bioware being nice enough to address gamers' reactions at all. While the ending still WON'T be satisfactory by any means (i.e. it is not the popular and sensible indoctrination theory), it at least stands as a victory, no matter how minor it may be perceived, for the gamers. GG tomorrow!
...just watched all the extended endings...
All I can say to Bioware now that doesn't involve cursing is:
I'm only ever going to buy your games used, period. I would rather pay EA an online pass for every game I get from them, for the next ten years, then buy one of your games new. I hope you enjoyed your ending, Mr. Hudson.
....You need to start the game before the attack on the Cerberus base. There are over a dozen new cutscenes(And I've still only seen one ending, so there are even more with the others, presumably).
Anyway, I thought the EC was great. I was kind of expecting it to suck, but it turned out well. I have a couple minor problems with the ending now, but considering it fixed all my problems with it, it's fine.
Did you not see the Refusal ending? Did you not get the spiteful intent?
The main endings are all better but still pretty much the same (just minor context and narration differences).
The Refusal ending pretty much says "okay, you don't want to play the way Bioware wants you to? YOU DIE! Doesn't matter anything you did before now, doesn't matter if you have every quest done, every ally made, every right decision chosen, you ******* die!"
That isn't fine. That's spiteful and petty and pathetic.
Nope, haven't done the refusal ending....But that sounds like that's what would happen if that's what Shepard did anyway. Since I'm guessing refusal means you just stand there and do nothing until the game kills you, I think that makes sense. Time is limited, people are dying, and sooner or later, the Reapers would probably blow you up.
Though, having not seen it(yet), maybe it's not done well. But it's not like Shepard had a lot of choices there, and I imagine if he didn't choose any of the three, everyone would die.
when wil this come out?
seriucly didn't you see the name of the picture? 26. June however if you are a PS3 europe you have to waint untill july 4th.
Short version : NO !
Long version : **** NO !
Extended Cut : **** NO !!
There you go.
Twilight has a better ending than this, and you know why ?
CAUSE IT HAS ATLEAST ONE SOLID ENDING TO IT !
So....You would have preferred no choice at all, and only one ending? In a game that's previously been all about choices and outcomes?
