Had a dream last night, but don't think I'll share it, was good though, till I woke up. :p
Don't think I have quite had a full lucid dream or many, or not usually in full control oddly (like being unable to run), but often aware.

Frequently dream zombies, once I was running through a school playing field next to a middle school I went to, with zombies around. Another time my family became zombies, which was a bit unpleasant with what I ended up doing.
Also dreamed once I was in the World Trade Centre, not sure which one, but I was in some sort of maintenance area which I was just trying to get out of with two other people, had the feeling one was my father, the tower then collapsed all around me and it just blacked out but I was alive, woke up after feeling hugely claustrophobic in the dream.

And of course, the typical being naked dream. One I remember was walking down Oxford Street in London.

I haven't had much naked dreams. Or at least not ones where I'm in some public place and suddenly notice I'm naked. Usually the naked dreams have been in places where it's normal to be naked, like in a sauna. I did have a dream where I was in a restaurant naked, and the doorman had my clothes, and I wanted my clothes back, but he was sort of slow.

And sometimes I have sex dreams, but I don't care to take my or her clothes off (often I've woken up when I've got rid of my clothes). I just start doing it and expect the clothes to just vanish, or to go through the clothes, like in some dreams I might go through walls without breaking them. Usually it all works very well.

I think it's a bit like this.. what I think I can do, I can do.. what I expect to happen, happens. If I doubt, then it doesn't work, or works less effective. Like if I doubted flying, I might still be able to make a very high/long jump, but then fall down.

myself, as a child i learned to practice lucid dreaming(altho i wasnt aware of the name)
i enjoyed most of my dreams (flying was regular...althou it was more like huge, slow motion jumps), but if my dream became nasty or unenjoyable, i would ('consiously',in my dream) curl up in a ball, close my eyes and count....soon i would wake up
so not only was i aware that i was dreaming, i also was able to wake myself up.
but as i became older, i have lost this 'ability'

i also for a few months(which seemed like years)when i was a child - i suffered nightmares and sleepwaking

now, my nightmares kind of work 'backwards'....to explain -- my happy dreams of my grandparents, my dog, good times in my life etc...then i wake up to the instant realisation that these things are gone - never to return
with my conventional nightmares, waking was/is a relief

with the 'reverse' kind, waking to these realisations is shocking, and very upsetting

so much so, that i have turned to medical help - all they offer me is drugs, which frankly have bbeen useless - low doses do nothing, but a slightly higher dose just whacks my next day out

i so much wish that i could practice the lucid dreaming of my childhood - i think it would help me mor than any drug

those of you who CAN practice lucid dreaming, should enjoy it and count yourselves very lucky
KJ

As a child, I had this awesome dream flying through my flat, seeing my parents sleeping and everything like it was the day before.
I don't remember if my body was with me or in my bed but it was an awesome dream with the feeling of flying.
But I don't know if I controlled the dream.
And in the last years I remember only very few dreams after waking up, so I'm trying to dream lucid and remember tomorrow as much as i can :D

I used to have quite a lot that kind of dreams. I still do sometimes, I think I could have more if concentrated more on it.

I had a dream that the Mothman was trying to pull me out of my bed when I was sleeping. He pulled me half up, I go back to sleep. Moment later, he tries to pull me again.

Then sometime later, I mean before, I had a dream that I was the Mothman and was flying, chasing and scaring some teenagers that had come to some car park hall building. I scared them away and then jumped out of the window and flied up to the sky.

i was about to fall asleep, i could feel it, and i kept opening and closing my eyes, i don't remember why, but the third time i opened my eyes i saw the eye of a raven with red around the edges, but i could still see my room in the backdrop. then when i looked to the left it was gone but it was the only thing that changed.

Like I said in the pm already, I think that it was halucination triggered by being really tired.
