why get paid to do a good job once when you can get paid to do it badly again and again and again?
That and way shittier materials (shittier but cheaper! think of the profits! /s)
because Mother Earth will once say "I do not possess infinite amount of crafting material, you dumb humans!!!"
but Humanity has always proven to not be able to think long-term so our doomsday is inevitable
On the other hand back in the old days they don't have tractor trailers to wear the roads out...

no its not that, go to Austria or Poland and then go to Slovakia. we have terrible roads even though our trafic is minimal compared to aforementioned countries
its matter of quality of materials and quality of foundation
