The grandparent of the USB? Have the CD and DVD completely been forgotten now as well?

Heh, I actually still have some of these with Win 2000 on it. No drive for these anymore though in modern computers... I think it's a shame, I always thought this was a very smart design to keep the disc inside protected.

i remember taking the metal guard off and playing around with the disk on the inside when i was younger....now i cant even find a place to place the floppy in a computer

sounds like an idea for a secret message system...

LOL it's funny I still use them to transfer midi files from my digital piano to somewhere else... btw just found a fat floppy (zip100) on my bookshelf, now that was a classic...
