For reasons we can only guess, this entity proceeds to the creation of everything within this universe, from starts and planets to laws of physics and sentient life.

Over time, a faction of them sentient life forms come up with a plethora of misinformation, a notable example: Them "being able to effectively force the actions of God to their bidding" through rituals entirely made up also by them.

Because a bigshot religious figure says something is X or Y way, it doesn't mean they're actually abiding to the teachings they *say* they preach. While this applies heavily with the Catholic church, it isn't the only case.
