As I recall it was stated in the codex that all Omni-tool's are equipped with a Universal translators.

ah yes, translators so advanced they can not only change how you sound to be the same language without hearing the original. but make it look like you are talking with the correct lip movements as well!

How can you understand Trian and Quarians(Who's face you can't even freaking see!) lip movements? As for Asrai, well they live for a millinea and English wouldn't be to though for them to as they are psychically and to an extent, mentally are almost like us. As for sularians, OK for that I am not entirely sure.
