This is my attempt on Fire, wanted to combine both elements in one image, but ended up with this:

He wanted to try a comet shooting towards the sun. This is his 2nd Digital artwork using GIMP.

Piffmaster has also informed me he might eventualy join moddb soon just for this group ^^
My own contribution will have to wait, but i will post it as soon as i am finished! =D

Good attempt, he actually had a way better idea to combine both elements than I had. I will add all work from the end of this weeks (22th June) theme on the gallery.

I had visualized a raging inferno clashing with a planet of ice, Warriors made of crystal and flame raged amongst the fields of blue, rising together to form a flaming tower of Ice. Storms raged and meteors came crashing down. a single teardrop fell from the atmosphere as the battle silenced. The planet slowly melting into oblivion...

I wanted to gimp my vision, yet i would need a class-A Gimp Diploma to do that =P so heres a small pic i made to go with it.

Whilst it doesnt fit to my vision, it at least fits to the theme ^^

Your idea sounds really cool and the picture isn't that bad either. I also use the Gimp and details can be hard to get sometimes, you did a good job though, nice work!

I think it's really great, both your vision and your visualised work!
