K-J Christmas Game Contest Part 4 of 4

~ Here you have the opportunity to win the a K-J Gift Ticket ~

The competition starts 25 December and last day on 29 December

Some info about the K-J Gift Ticket: Yeah there have been a lot of question when it comes to this Ticket, like what in the world can you use it for, right? Now the "K-J Game Competition" group have been living for more than 3 years now and I have had incredible many different competitions where you can win a game that I have chosen. So what is better if you can chose one game you want, right?

That's right, if you win a (K-J Gift Ticket) you can chose one game you want, but only on Steam. But since this ticket part is pretty new to the contest group, so will this ticket have some limit. You can use it for what game you want, but only the game itself. Also this is pretty Important! If you have a K-J ticket, when you receives it, so will the ticket only lasts for 2 weeks if you don't use it.

So if you don't use it within 2 weeks after you receives it, the ticket will become useless. I can't wait forever before you use it and no, the ticket don't work for pre-order games. So it's important that you keep youself updated and look for updates on the K-J Game Competition group.

Question 01: Without a shadow of a doubt, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. It manages to bring the Vietnam-era warfare to life without resorting to any stereotypes: there are jungle raid maps, of course, but it also features bloody urban warfare in the citadel of Hue and gritty, intense, combined arms all-out assaults on enemy positions on Hamburger Hill.

Perhaps the thing that has endeared this game to me the most is its business model: in an era where players are milked with a plethora of microtransactions and DLC, Rising Storm 2 pushes out free expansions. Not to mention the still-ongoing mapping contest, which rewards modders for their creativity and efforts. Such a far cry from 2017 AAA games!

Question 02: I would certainly like to get Tannenberg. I have a long time interest for the history of Austria, Austria-Hungary and its successor states in the 19th and 20th centuries, so for me the opportunity to play as a KuK riflemen is just too good to let pass. Not to mention that it's set in the WW1 Eastern Front, a much forgotten theatre of war.

Question 01: Resident Evil 7
One of the best horror games I have ever played. I'm not one who gets easily scared by games, but this game seriously gave me the chills all the way through.

Question 02: I'm really looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2, and I really hope that Mount & Blade Bannerlord will get released. They are both sequels to some of my favourite games ever.

Question 01:
Battlefront II.
No, but in all seriousness now that's a bit difficult since I didn't play anything that came out this year (yet). The newest game I played was Civ VI, but that came out late 2016. The best game I bought this year was without a doubt The Witcher 3, but that's quite a bit older as well. What interests me the most of the new games this year is propably Total War: Warhammer though.

Question 02:
It won't come out next year, but Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely the upcoming game I'm looking forward to the most. Open world RPG by the same guys that made The Witcher in a cyberpunk setting. What's not to love? However for next year Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Metro Exodus are also games I'm looking forward to. The first because I like open-world RPGs and I can't wait to see one in a historically accurate setting and the second because good singleplayer shooters are always welcome and the first two Metro games were stellar as well.

Question 1:
Nier Automata would have to be my pick. An excellent action-rpg which has a very unique story with lots of twists and things to make you think. Combat is great with decent weapon variety and a lots of customization options to change up your skills and abilities. Honorable mention goes to Total War: Warhammer 2

Question 2:
The game I am most looking forward to would be God of War. I was a huge fan of the original series for its unrelenting violence and its ability to make you feel like a real badass. I am also a big fan of The last of Us, and God of War seems to be incorporating elements of that game in terms of the storytelling which excites me since I love the character of Kratos. Honorable mention goes to The Last of Us: Part 2

Q1: I think I kind of have to be that guy that doesn't directly follow the question. Almost no AAA games from 2017 I particularly liked and I haven't gotten around to any of the Indie Games released this year. I mean, Nier Automata was quite the sleeper hit and Resident Evil 7 may have been a refreshing return to the series's roots in horror, and I admire them for that, but they didn't really peak my interest. So instead, I'd like to drop my favorite game of this year period, even though it wasn't actually released this year. Factorio. My god, I've only had it for 5 months and I've already put 700 hours into it. That's like 5 days per month I've had it. I haven't played a game at a pace like this in years. It's just so ******* good.

Q2: Same thing I hope for every year: A new RTS game. It doesn't even have to be good. It just has to be a new RTS game that I can study and analyze and break down every detail of to see what works what doesn't and why.

Q1: This year game that makes me interested is PUBG, Assasin Creed Origin, Dishonored 2 Death of the Outsider, and if we include the re-released game, that is Starcraft Remastered (My eternal Favourite Franchise). I would love to play the game, but as my laptop not capable running such game, it will take times for me to build my own gaming PC.

Q2: 2018 Games i mostly anticipated for Age of Empires definitive edition, Metro Exodus, Darksiders III, and WoW Battle of Azeroth (although i dont play WoW).

1) streets of rogue, it technically started development in 2016 but the steam early access launch was in 2017, besides, i will use any excuse to recommend this game, imagine a roguelike deus ex, thats it, thats the whole idea, its top down deus ex, but with classes and everything is randomized, the game gives you a bunch of objectives each floor and tells you to complete them, the objectives are simple, but you can complete them by sneaking, blowing everything up, disguising yourself so that no one notices you shouldnt be there, etc.

2) dunno about games announced for 2018, but im really looking foward to the inevitable DOOM 2, i might have to upgrade my PC though, i can bearly get playable framerates on minimum settings and 1080p on the first one and thats thanks to them adding vulkan support

1) Definitely NieR: Automata. The music man! OMG, I'm in heaven. ^^

2) They still didn't announce a release date, but I really hope I'll be able to get Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord in 2018. I played all M&B games since their release and this time the wait becomes loooong. >_< But I'm convinced it will be worth the time waiting.

1. I've been most excited about BFII, and when that one turned to be a disappointment, my favourite game has to be Assassin's Creed Origins.
Now if DLCs and Expansions are included, my favourite is absolutely Stellaris: Utopia^^

2. tbh I'm most excited about Waking The Tiger expansion for Hearts of Iron IV, and Cherry for Stellaris. Paradox has just been kicking soo much *** lately :D
but in terms of games, I think my most anticipated is Darksiders III. I just love those games for some reason!
