Эльф`урр (и в частности их правящий подвид Дроэн) официально считаются Светлой расой и союзниками человечества в 26 столетии против сил Мрака. Однако же есть у них и тёмные тайны, о которых они не расскажут никогда. Если об использовании мракотехнологий речь всё же и заходит, т.к. правители Эльф`урр стоят за продвижение подобной науки, то о самых тёмных из секретов представители этой расы предпочитают молчать, а если кто и додумается вопросить их об этом, сразу же натыкается на яростное отрицание.
Известно то, что источники лисоподобной расы Киносов (так же союзной для людей) говорят о том, что сами Киносы происходят из совершенно иной галактики (предп. Андромеды). Поговаривают, что Киносы переселились в нашу галактику (Млечный Путь) не случайно. Есть легенды, в которых говорится о таинственных Пожирателях, "обчищающих" тысячи миров и уничтожающими в них всю имеющуюся жизнь. Эти самые Пожиратели фигурируют и в Киносских древних мифах. Они обладают острыми ушами, вампирскими зубами и алыми глазами, славятся кровожадностью и поеданием других существ. Предпочитают заплетать косички на головах, славящимися длинными волосами. Поначалу учёные-мифологи думали, что речь идёт о другом виде Киносов, более агрессивном. Такой вид, разумеется, существовал в древний период. Киносы так же как и люди проходили свой путь развития и в своё время воевали друг с другом. Известно немало хроник об их войнах с Аурэус, злобными киносами-мракопоклонниками, случившихся за 30000 лет до нашей эры. Однако Аурэус были побеждены, и на этом закончился тёмный период расы Киносов. Киносы объединились и превратились в единый галактический штат. Но когда речь заходит о таинственных Пожирателях, то говорится здесь вовсе не о других Киносах. Судя по описаниям и внешнему виду, эти самые Пожиратели очень напоминают Эльф`урр.
Известно и то, что некоторые исследователи галактики находили заброшенные первобытные миры, в которых встречались существа, родственные Эльф`урр, жившие в пещерах. Они славились каннибализмом, агрессивностью и поклонению жутким идолам. Обычно сами Эльф`урр не причисляли этих существ к себеподобным, но анализы ДНК, проводимые учёными людей выяснили, что эти создания очень даже родственны Эльф`уррской расе.
Поэтому и строится предположения, что когда-то очень давно среди Эльф`уррской расы существовал ещё один подвид, состоящий из агрессивных монстроподобных существ, угрожавших целой галактике. Потом этот вид скорее всего исчез или был уничтожен их же собратьями из числа более адекватных Эльф`урр. Правда есть и теория, что эти создания всё ещё могут сохранять своё существование где-нибудь в других галактиках и даже представлять угрозу.

Веспасиан Сальери был избранником на пост президента Артандирской республики от партии "юниалов" - "Общий дух". Он властвовал над державой 4 года, но при этом успел прославиться, как ярый "Эльфурролюб". Сальери происходил из рода полукровок, в котором имелись эльф`уррские корни. Да и сам он так же как и его пращуры женился на эльф`уррке (капитане 1 ранга Эсфириэль). Он пригласил в страну братьев своей жены, занимавшейся продвижением технологии и науки. Таким образом Артандирская республика на каждой планете обзавелась мощнейшими энергетическими источниками. Это привело к повышению цен на электроэнергию почти по всей державе. Более того, братья Эсфириэль оснастили новейшими технологиями и Артандирскую военную технику, несмотря на протесты генералитета. Вскоре Сальери окончательно подорвал свою репутацию, создав Эльф`уррский легион на территории Артандира. Он пригласил до трёхсот военнослужащих из Эльф`уррской империи. Пошли слухи и о непосредственном контакте Сальери с Дроэн и их запретными знаниями. Это в конечном счёте вызвало акции протеста по всей державе. Почти каждая планета отказывалась признавать власть президента. Комиты и префекты объявили официальное неподчинение. Вскоре благодаря импичменту Сальери был снят с должности, после чего он отбыл на территорию Эльф`уррской империи и более на родину не возвращался. В 2596 году к власти пришёл президент Седрик, так же от партии "юниалов" и по профессии рок-музыкант. Он отменил глобальную "эльфурризацию" Артандира, т.к. являлся сторонником другой иномирской расы - Киносов, с которыми и поддерживал отношения. Эльф`урр же формально оставались союзниками Артандира и после прихода Седрика, однако отношения между двумя державами стали портиться. Эльф`уррский военачальник Ахманет объявила жителей Артандира неблагодарными в публичном выступлении. На данный момент власть Седрика старается сохранить более-менее благополучные отношения с эльфоподобными союзниками, несмотря на все противоречия. Орден и Коалиция выступают за вековечный союз с Эльф`урр и продолжение сотрудничества. Такую же политику пытается вести и Артандир, хотя жители его и недовольны остроухими созданиями. Некоторые Эльф`уррские изобретения до сих пор остаются в армии Артандирской республики.
