A few months ago after getting through Bioshock Infinite I had thoroughly enjoyed the story and found the universe interesting, however the actual gameplay was very unimpressive if not a miserable drag on the story. After watching TotalBiscuit's video on the game, he articulated exactly what I had felt. Bioshock Infinite was an excellent story and possibly a contender for story of the decade but it had in comparison the same gameplay quality of Call of Duty. So what makes a good game and do some games deserve to be relegated to other designations such as The Walking Dead, which has hardly any gameplay to speak of? A good game is not only fun to play but resonates with your own experiences and being in some significant way. "In 1996, Computer Gaming World ranked it as the 20th best game of all time." Edited by: numbersix |
